General

Operations Supervisor – BC Division, AJ Kutzer, is responsible for receiving feedback on behalf of Cement Distributors Inc. (CDI).

Action taken in Barrier Identification, Removal and Prevention

1. Employment

CDI will interview all Canadian staff in person with a questionnaire form to identify, remove and prevent barriers facing staff. This interview will spread awareness regarding the Accessibility Canada Act (ACA) and its purpose. The interview process was completed with no barriers reported.

2. the built environment

CDI determined that a designated handicapped parking stall does not yet exist. CDI has created a designated spot close to the office, complete with signage.

AJ Kutzer will conduct in-person employee interviews with a questionnaire form to identify potential barriers for those working for, doing business or visiting with CDI. Everyone will have an opportunity to provide feedback, or request more information on the ACA, our ACA Accessibility Plan and Feedback Process.

  • How we are implementing our accessibility plan

  • Any additional comments or concerns regarding barriers at CDI

You can send your feedback by email, phone or mail using the contact information listed below. You can also send your feedback anonymously. We will acknowledge receipt of your feedback in the same way you sent us your feedback, unless the feedback was provided anonymously.

You can also contact us to ask for a copy of our accessibility plan and our feedback process description in these alternate formats: print, large print, Braille, audio or an electronic format that is compatible with adaptive technology intended to assist persons with disabilities. We will provide the format you ask for as soon as possible. Braille and audio formats may take up to 45 days. Print, large print and electronic formats may take up to 20 days.

CDI will ensure the feedback we receive is reviewed promptly. We will produce a “what we heard” report, present it to an internal working group and identify next steps, including obtaining additional feedback. We will then use all the feedback to help prepare our progress report and next accessibility plan.
